We’re excited to continue growing our music program at Ann Parsley School of Dance, expanding our commitment to the performing arts beyond dance and into the world of instrumental music. Our mission is to provide students with creative opportunities that build confidence, skill, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
As part of this expansion, we are pleased to offer private piano lessons for ages 5 and up. Students receive individualized instruction tailored to their interests and goals, whether they are just beginning or looking to strengthen existing skills. For those interested, piano students may also incorporate voice work into their lessons for a well-rounded musical experience.
Our piano program is open to everyone, not just APSD dancers — making this a great opportunity to invite friends and family who may be interested in exploring music or beginning their musical journey.

PIANO LESSONS
ALICIA BRYSON
Alicia Bryson is a dedicated and accomplished music educator with over ten years of experience teaching piano and voice. She has directed one of the largest youth choirs in the Sterling Heights area, where she has built an inclusive, student-led program known for developing musical skill, confidence, and leadership in young performers.
Alicia has guided countless students from early childhood through young adulthood, with many continuing on to collegiate and professional music programs. Her background includes extensive work in youth music direction, piano accompaniment, and private instruction, as well as curriculum design and mentorship for developing musicians.
Outside of teaching, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
ELENA HIRSCH
Elena Hirsch is an experienced and dedicated musician with a genuine passion for both music and teaching. She has been teaching piano for years, working with students of varying ages and experience levels, and is known for creating a supportive, encouraging learning environment.
Elena is a 2023 graduate of the University of Miami’s prestigious Frost School of Music. Since graduating, she has remained actively engaged in the arts as a teacher, performer, and composer, while also writing and livestreaming her own original music. Her approach to teaching blends strong technical foundations with creativity and musical expression, helping students build confidence and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Elena is excited to begin working with students at APSD Music Studio and looks forward to inspiring young musicians as they grow and develop their skills.
