2026 SUMMER SCHEDULE

Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence in Dance Education

We are proud to share the schedule for our 50th anniversary 6-week summer session at Ann Parsley School of Dance. Classes begin the week of June 16, 2026 and run through July 23, 2026.

We offer a wide range of classes for all ages and experience levels, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and more—all in a non-competitive, professionally guided environment.

SUMMER TUITION

Ann Parsley School of Dance will hold one, six-week session from June 16, 2026 through July 23, 2026. Students are encouraged to continue their training over the summer.  Dancers who wish to enroll in a pointe class must also enroll in a ballet class. There is no proration of tuition, however, students may do drop-ins. If you cannot attend all classes in a session you may make up a class in the same session or pay the drop-in rate.

Tuition listed is for one, 6-week session, one class per week. There are six classes in each session. Tuition is due in full upon registration.

Landrie Adams is a student in the School of Music, Theatre & Dance (SMTD) at the University of Michigan and is originally from Leonard, Michigan. Landrie's training includes Boston Ballet School, Indiana Ballet Conservatory, Ann Parsley School of Dance and Rochester School of Dance with intensive invitations and scholarships. Landrie has been awarded numerous scholarships and invitations from multiple international competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix and ADC|IBC and most recently was selected for the Sutton Foster Award in Choreography. She was also selected to perform in the world premiere of Mimmo Miccolis' piece 3Rs and offered multiple trainee company positions prior to making her commitment to furthering her education and academic career at the University of Michigan. Landrie looks forward to dancing professionally, pursuing her love of teaching, and expanding her movement and overall healthy living commitment with obtaining Yoga and Pilates certifications. 

LANDRIE ADAMS

JayMarie Denard started her dance journey at 8 years old. She transitioned to Ann Parsley at age 11 and joined the Macomb Ballet Company in 2016. JayMarie trained with APSD and MBC for 7 years. She performed in several ballet including The Nutcracker, The Little Mermaid, The Wizard of Oz, Sleeping Beauty, and Once Upon a Time. While with APSD, she completed Cecchetti student certification for grades I-IV. JayMarie is continuing her training and education at Western Michigan University as a double major in Dance and Exercise Science. She is also a member of the Western Michigan Elite Dance Team.

JAYMARIE DENARD

Athena (Nina) King alumni of APSD/MBC is currently a Studio Company Artist with Louisville Ballet. Last year with Louisville Ballet, she danced in productions including La Baydère (Studio Connections), Ching Ching Wong’s 502 (Triple Take), as well The Brown-Forman Nutcracker and Cinderella. She is looking forward to performing later this summer in Louisville Ballet’s Midsummer Night's Dream Production. She previously trained at the University of Oklahoma as a ballet performance major where she danced soloist roles in Mary Margaret Holt’s The Nutcracker as well as Whereabouts Unknown by Jiří Kylián. Nina trained at Ann Parsley School of Dance/Macomb Ballet Company for 5 years. Prior to that, Nina danced at Eisenhower Dance Detroit. She has attended several summer intensives including Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Grand Rapids Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, The Rock School for Dance Education and Ballet West Academy. In addition to her training, Nina was a ADC IBC solo finalist as well as a YAGP Nervi Guest Artist. She has won several awards placing in the top 3 from Cecchetti Council of America and Youth America Grand Prix. Nina is pursuing a BS Degree in Business.

NINA KING

Vivian Scalici grew up dancing at Ann Parsley School of Dance, where she developed her love for dance and performance. She later joined the Macomb Ballet Company, where she trained and performed for 10 years. During her time, she performed numerous roles, including lead roles in The Nutcracker, The Little Mermaid, and Peter Pan. Vivian has completed Cecchetti Method student certifications Grades I–V. She furthered her classical training through summer programs with Texas Ballet Theater and Colorado Ballet, as well as Cecchetti intensives. Vivian is currently attending Michigan State University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology with plans to pursue medicine. She has found a love and respect for dance and its relationship with the human body. Vivian continues to dance with a student-led organization on campus and has developed a passion for teaching and choreographing. She hopes to inspire and help others to find their passion for dance and grow as artists.
