At Ann Parsley School of Dance, we maintain a professional and distraction-free learning environment by requiring all students to follow our studio dress code. Proper attire allows instructors to see body alignment clearly and ensures dancers are safe and prepared for class. General Dress Code Guidelines
Dancers must wear the required dancewear for their class at all times.
Hair must be secured neatly off the face (in a bun for ballet).
Crop tops and sports bras are not permitted.
Tights are required when wearing dance shorts or skirts.
Students not in proper attire may be dismissed from class.

For recital participation, all dancers must have Revolution brand tights. Please refer to the specific uniform requirements listed below for Cecchetti syllabus classes.

DRESS CODE

All dancers enrolled in Cecchetti syllabus ballet classes (Primary I through Grade VII) are required to wear a class uniform specific to their level. Each level has a designated leotard style and color. Dancers enrolled in more than one Cecchetti level must have the appropriate uniform for each class.
Girls:
Leotard
Pink or skin-tone footed tights
Ballet wrap may not be worn
Pink or skin-tone ballet slippers
Hair must be neatly secured off the face; buns are required for intermediate and advanced levels
No jewelry permitted
Boys:
Black dance tights
White fitted t-shirt
Black or white ballet shoes
Dance belt
