Pointe workshop
This four hour workshop is designed for dancers beginning pointe this summer. It will cover all of the basics of pointe shoes including selecting the right fit, sewing and tying shoes, pointe safety and how to care for pointe shoes. The class, taught by studio Assistant Director Hannah Carden, will also include a beginning pointe technique class that will prepare dancers for summer classes.
*Dancers will need to bring pointe shoes, shoe elastic and Freed brand ribbon (available at the studio) as well as a stitch kit for sewing.

*Dancers may not enroll in this workshop without approval of the studio director. Tuition is non-refundable and due in full upon registration. Registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. No refunds or partial reimbursements will be given under any circumstance unless the workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment. If workshop becomes full, students will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted if space becomes available.
