Summer Schedule

2021 Summer session 1

June 22-July 15


Ann Parsley School of Dance will hold two, four week sessions. The schedule is NOT the same for both sessions. This is the schedule for session 1 only. Students are encouraged to continue their training over the summer. SUMMER INFORMATION

Ann Parsley School of Dance will hold two, four week sessions. The schedule is NOT the same for both sessions. This is the schedule for session 1 only. Students are encouraged to continue their training over the summer. Dancers who wish to enroll in a pointe class must also enroll in a ballet class. There is no proration of tuition, however, students may do drop-ins. If you cannot attend all classes in a session you may make up a class in the same session or pay the drop in rate.


REGISTRATION

All students must register online via the APSD portal before beginning classes. This includes creating an account with complete and accurate information, filling out emergency information, and accepting the waiver. Students will not be registered for classes unless tuition for the session is paid in full at the time of registration. It is the responsibility of the parent to obtain and read through the COVID-19 studio guidelines document upon registration. This document can be found on our website.


CLASS INFORMATION

Pre-pointe and Strength and Stretch Classes

All students enrolled in pre-pointe will need to purchase pre-pointe supplies prior to beginning the class. Supplies needed for pre-pointe class can be found at the following link: https://www.annparsleyschoolofdance.com/ballet-and-pointe. Dancers enrolled in Strength and Stretch will need to purchase a Ballet Band on amazon.com or balletband.com.


STUDIO POLICIES

· The schedule is for Session 1, which runs from June 22-July 15, 2021.

· Schedule, teacher, and class offerings are subject to change based on enrollment, space limitations, regulations, and availability.

· Students are to abide by studio dress code at all times regardless of if the class is in studio or via Zoom. Students that are not properly dressed will be dismissed from class. APSD does not require ballet uniforms for summer classes.

· There is absolutely no use of any studios that are vacant. Studio staff will close the doors and shut off the lights when a studio is not in use.

· All classes will be available via Zoom for those who wish to take class remotely.


TUITION

· Summer session 1 will consist of 4 weekly class sessions from June 22-July 15, 2021.

· There is no pro-rated tuition. There are no refunds, credits, or transfers of tuition for missed classes, snow days, pandemics or holiday breaks. We strongly encourage students to make up any missed classes. Students may make-up classes during the session with any other class of the same level or lower, even if it is not the same type of dance. Make up classes must be scheduled in advance due to space limitations.

· Session must be paid in full. All payments must be made via the APSD web portal.

· There are absolutely no refunds or credits of tuition regardless of if classes are held in studio or online.

· Family accounts - Multiple Dancers in a family must reside at the same residence and have the same legal guardian.

·Should we be unable to meet in person at any point in the session due to COVID-19, all classes will move to Zoom on the same day and time. There will be no refunds or credits of tuition. Pointe classes can be done on pointe if dancer has a vinyl square at home, or it can be done in flat shoes. Progressions classes will be modified to focus on strengthening and stretching. Tap classes can purchase a tap board or piece of plywood or can dance in street shoes.
